Bulk Registration Opt-in, NOW AVAILABLE

Coaches + Team Leaders,

There is no doubt we have an exciting list of summer events as we approach the end of the 2024 quad!

We wanted to inform you that your club will have from now until August 25th to opt in or out for bulk /club-controlled renewal registration. 

As a reminder, teams cannot register athletes for the 2024-2025 Season until after Sept 1.  

The process to opt in or out, has not changed, just giving your team more time to decide. You can change your decision at any time from now until August 25^th. 

Below are things to consider as to what is the best option for your club:

Bulk or Club-Controlled Registration

·        Accessible for any club who has a Club Admin or designated staff member who can handle completing a high volume of registrations. 

·        Allows a club to control registration timing after Sept 1, for bulk registrations.   

·        Ensures members are registered for their proper role(s). 

·        Streamlines the data entry process for members by only requiring member input one time for items such as contact information, addresses, email addresses. 

·        Allows a club to take advantage of any integrated registration systems that may be offered by third-party vendors.  

·        Allows a club to collect renewal membership fees before Sept 1, and then make a single payment to USA Swimming after Sept 1 for the 2024-2025 season. 

Self or Member-Controlled Registration

·        Clubs will have to provide links and validate member registration. 

·        Member Controlled is a simple process for existing members to renew their prior year registration type or for new members to register.  

·        Offers each member the opportunity to update or confirm their contact information, especially for those over 18. 

·        Gives members control of registration timing and selection of proper role.  

·        Potentially removes the team leader's responsibility as each member registers or renews in their own account. 

·        Members pay for their membership(s) directly in their log-in accounts.  

As a reminder, If a team selects 'Yes', this club agrees to register existing athletes associated with the club from 2023 - 2024 for the upcoming 2024-2025 registration year. By selecting 'No', this club will require existing athletes associated with the club from 2023 - 2024 to complete their own athlete membership renewals for the upcoming registration year.

The selection will lock in on 08/25/2024.
